Closed values up!

But showings are winding down…

Last week, Closed home prices soared 16% over previous year numbers, across Chicagoland. The values indicate a strong willingness by consumers to pay a premium for good housing. However, scheduled showings have significantly declined over the last three weeks, as Chicagoans celebrate the end of summer and back to school.  We expect market activity to be slow through Labor Day and then seasonally pick back up in mid-September, as long as the covid levels stay similar or decline. Safe and prequalified property showings are still standard protocol. Its imperative that your home is staged to today’s buyer tastes for a fast sale at a strong value. The widest pool of buyers prefer bright rooms with light paint and white cabinets. “Move in ready” condition is more desirable than ever. Reach out to us for help!
